Does Adventist Health offer cardiac rehab services?

Yes! In fact, we’re the only cardiac rehab program in the county accredited by the American Association of Cardiovascular Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Our team of registered nurse specialists have advanced training, experience and expertise in helping patients recover after heart attack, heart failure, coronary artery bypass surgery, angioplasty and stents, heart valve replacement and a wide variety of other cardiac conditions.

Does the Heart Institute accept my insurance?

We take most commercial insurance, as well as Medi-Cal and Medicare. However, it is very important that you call your insurer to confirm your coverage for any non-emergency visit to avoid the potential of paying much higher fees for your service. Examples of non-emergency visits include medical specialist visits, diagnostic tests (such as X-ray, CT and MRI), surgery and non-surgical procedures (such as cath lab procedures).

More Great Outcomes

Top-quality heart care

We’re proud to have the first American College of Cardiology (ACC) accredited cath lab in the county. We’re also the county’s first hospital to achieve National Distinction of Excellence as a HeartCARE Center by the ACC, as well as an accredited Heart Failure and Chest Pain Center. These recognitions, along with our other heart-care awards from Healthgrades, can give you more confidence that your heart is in expert hands.
