Made for more adventures

You were made for more. More family time. More laughter. More healthy years ahead.

That’s why Adventist Health Sonora is focused on offering comprehensive cancer care, close to home, so that you can experience more of what matters most to you.

The Diana J. White Cancer Institute provides total cancer care in a beautiful setting with views across the Sierra foothills. With treatment options, technologies and expertly trained staff that rival urban or academic cancer centers, we provide a personalized level of patient care that can only be found in the comfort of your hometown environment.

We support our patients throughout treatment — physically, emotionally, spiritually and even financially, with a team of caregivers who are already your family, friends and neighbors. Our compassion will bring you hope.

Leading Cancer Care in the Sierra Foothills

Nationally recognized standards of care and quality you can trust

The Diana J. White Cancer Institute is one of only 16 cancer centers in California certified by the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®). The QOPI® certification program means you can be confident you’re receiving high-quality care, with a special focus on patient safety, treatment planning and supporting each patient’s well-being.

Extraordinary Support

Our team handles the details, so you don’t have to

When you're fighting cancer, you want to focus on what matters most and not on managing appointments, insurance billing and other details. Our nurse navigator helps you understand your treatment options, assists with making appointments and helps obtain referrals. Your patient service coordinator and social worker help determine your eligibility for resources, maximize your insurance benefits and handle the details and paperwork for you.
