Our surgeons use the kinematic alignment approach for total knee replacement candidates, an approach developed by our very own Stephen Howell, MD. This method naturally aligns the knee by custom positioning the implant to the native joint line of the knee, like it was before arthritis developed. This personalized method speeds recovery and provides greater satisfaction, pain relief, function and flexion than traditional or mechanically aligned total knee replacement.

At Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, we offer both traditional hip replacement and anterior hip replacement surgery, a minimally invasive procedure enabling the surgeon to access the hip joint from the front rather than from the side or back of the hip and without cutting major muscles. This can mean smaller incisions, less time in the operating room and a faster recovery, as well as a minimal risk of dislocation after the procedure. In both procedures our surgeons remove the damaged hip joint and replace it with a mechanical implant, relieving your pain and allowing you to stay active for years to come.
